There's this remarkable trend going on. And I can't help but notice in the blog section that some members are posting these lovely poems in their blogs. It's just amazing how a life experience, good or bad, could drive some people to tap into their hidden (yet special) God-given talents and express their thoughts in here -- in an organised yet artsy way -- through a poem. (Such clever command of English and Filipino vocabularies and homonyms. I mean, seriously, how do you people come up with these astounding, yet wonderful pieces.)

Looking at the bigger picture, I guess, it's the same fact that we could apply in this life. Perhaps, more often than not, God wants us to experience something (whether it's blissful or horrifying) that forces us to step outside of our 'comfort zone', because He knows this could lead into a deeper discovery of ourselves -- a discovery wherein we take upon ourselves in charting into a territory within us where we haven't explored before and tap into our God-given goodness, talents and resources that we ourselves never even knew that we have all along. By having this deeper discovery, we begin to trust in ourselves and, by acknowledging that God is the source of this goodness within us, we allow for God to take over and develop the character that we are meant to have. And when there's trust in ourselves and in God, we begin to respect a little bit more, appreciate a little bit more, and eventually, we begin to be overwhelmed with love and a feeling of deep self-contentment; confident and knowing that God is always with us throughout our lives.

"Heavenly Father, we thank You for the experiences in life that we encounter, interact, and cope with everyday that enable us to discover the goodness, talents and resources You have bestowed upon us; and empower us to love You and trust in You more."
